Aurora's Bakery: A Haven for Panadería Lovers in Escondido, CA

Today Dec 10/23 bread is their thing, it was really good. But today's the tamales were horrible. I purchased Pork and chicken (6/6), we did not liked them at all. I have been here other times and the tamales were great. I'll give them a other chance.

So happy to have found Aurora Bakery. Fresh bread & coffee.

Wifey wanted some hard rolls right before dinner, so at 4:50 pm I look for a real bakery near me. Aurora Bakery was closest and to be honest, we've been driving by this facility for 20+ yrs and have always been curious as to why there's always people inside and in some instances, a line of people to get in. I walked in, was helped by the girls working there, as well as a patron who shared the mass inventory of items available. So, I got my two hard rolls and a variety of other items, and they are exceptional. We've now got a great bakery near by and blows away store bought bread. Just took us 29+ years to finally walk in.

Picked up a strawberry tres leches cake from the case. My guests and I loved it. It was moist, not too sweet, flavorful, great texture. Everyone at the party asked where this cake was from, tasted very high end. Would definitely order from Auroras again!

This is the best Pan Dulce Bakery Panadería in Escondido that I have found The Chocolate Concha and Cuernito de Azúcar tasted good! They were soft and a little sweet and tasted natural and good size. There is parking in the back. No photos becuase we ate them all too fast Clean, organized, attentive and quick checkout. The smell outside brings memories of home some time ago.

First time ordering cake here. I was satisfied with the design since I came 2 days before ordering (normally I order a week or more in advance) they didn’t have the decorations that matched my theme so I asked for only icing and I’d get the toys separately on my own. The cake was delicious, I’m picky with my 3 leches cakes but it was just the right amount of moisture. The only thing I did not like was that I couldn’t get a choice in fruit for the filling.. I normally get half strawberry and half banana (actual fruit) but they said their only option for 3 leches was mixed fruit. Other than that I was satisfied with everything else.
